Free Plants for City of Atlanta Residents

The City of Atlanta’s Green House is taking requests until August 15 for free plants to be planted on city properties. The plants will be distributed in October and November in time for the fall/winter planting season and must be used on public property such as parks, traffic islands and rights of way.

I think this rocks and hope lots of folks take advantage of it. To learn more, check out the City of Atlanta’s Web site.
