georgia voters, have you NO compassion for me?
so i go on vacation and return to the united states to find that you all have voted down any chance that ralph reed will be in statewide office and are on the verge of turning out cynthia mckinney yet again? did you not think about those of us who love to write and post about the antics of the ethically challenged and looney fringe on both sides of the political spectrum?
do you really think casey cagle is going to take money from one native american casino to whip up a frenzy amongst moral zealots over another native american casino*? is hank johnson going to cite hugo chavez and fidel castro as deep political thinkers*? i think not.
wow, i can’t leave the country during an election, can i?
This is a stupid post.
(This is a stupid comment.)
Oh, James. Ye of little faith! There is always another politician waiting in the wings to step up and make a mockery of our political system. Don’t you worry; You are going to have plenty of fodder for the Metblog.
but did you vote?
nope, and before the righteours indignation pours in, let me explain. i do not consider myself a member of either party and thus do not vote in primaries. i believe that primaries should be for members of the respective party to choose their candidate. ergo, no voting in primaries for me.
