Looking for something to do this weekend? Everyone knows that Atlanta was the site of an important Civil War battle. Did you know that the battle lines ran right through what is now East Atlanta, Ormewood, Grant Park, and Decatur?

To commemorate the battle, which took place July 21, 1864, 5th district neighborhoods are presenting their yearly B*ATL Events, including a Gala BBQ, a 5K, encampment re-enactments, cemetery tours, and more.
