There was no silverware in medieval times, therefore there is no silverware at Medieval Times

Opening this Friday (July 21) is Atlantaland’s own Medieval Times! It’s up at Discover Mills in Lawrenceville, but despite that I’m going to sheepishly (and geekily) recommend it. I haven’t been to a MT in about 8 years, but I’ve had a good time the several times I have been. The price is kind of up there, but if you get the “royalty package” online you get a whole lot more. You have to go with an open mind and having made the decision to root really hard for your knight. Otherwise it will suck.

And, no, you don’t typically get to go on the floor and fight your cable guy.

Don’t forget the smell of a horse ring while you’re eating. Yum!

I was going to make a clever reference to Cable Guy, but I can’t bring myself to do it.

The Medieval Times-style dining experience at the Excalibur in Vegas is kinda fun.
