There’s a celebration marking the 10-year anniversary of the ’96 Olympics on Saturday, July 15, in Centennial Olympic Park. Trisha Yearwood is performing. I’m having a hard time imagining what the rest of the celebration will be like. Maybe I would be more excited about it if I had volunteered during the games or had otherwise done more than attend a soccer game in Athens and hang out in the Budweiser tent in the park a few times. Since apparently this is an appropriate time to reminisce, does anyone remember that crazy waterfall outside the Bud tent that spelled things out? That was pretty insane.
