Fireworks and Politics!

Well, I’m back from my little “tour of the U.S.” and I can tell you I’ve never been so glad to see the Atlanta Airport.. I heard most of the fireworks got rained out on the 4th here in the city. I never got to see any at all! I was not happy.

So, I had all the local news channels punched up on my monitors tonight and what did I see: Political Ads! Yeah, baby! It’s that time of year again. I love it! Fireworks at last.

Don’t you just love all the current state political ads running on television! They’re so deliciously evil and deviously southern fried; magnificently contrived in content, void of reason! BRILLIANT! They reminded me of a new script I as reading on the way back to Atlanta. I felt like I was watching a bad version of Blue Collar Comedy Tour meets Dangerous Liaisons! Come on people, take some lessons from New Jersey! Start slinging some real mud. I want something worthy of a new FOX reality show!

All I’ve got to say is, thank G-d, I’m a Libertarian!

Oh, now Ed, show me some fire man! You can do better than that. You see, none of the “others” represent my ideals and I have a feeling, they might not be representing yours either.
