Today, sportwriters around Atlanta calcuted the Braves’ “magic number”: 2007

[Hat tip, Steve Craig of 99x]

Seriously, baseball in this city officially sucks this year. Add to the Braves woes the bedwetting performances of Tech and UGA in the College World Series and it’s no wonder I’m playing Madden every night, pining for Vick and the Falcons.

This is the reason why the Braves need us more than ever.
I am getting sick and tired of hearing “Braves Fans” trash talk our team. The very same people who are currently trash talking our team are the same ones who became “Braves fans” back in 1991 when the team started winning.
It is awsome to have a sports team in your hometown no matter how well or how bad they do.

    ALSO,
we are only 70 some odd games in the season. As soon as things start turning around, watch all these idiots start talking about how they knew Atlanta could pull it out in the end.

I’m not predicting a miraculous turn around but look at what the Astros did the past 2 years to make the wild card. And the Marlins in 2003. So there is hope.

And Seth, here’s hoping that the Falcons do better this season. If Mr. Vick can learn to be a great QB instead of an athletic QB that can run like the wind and has the arm of cannon but make horrible decisions we should be golden.
