Ask and you shall receive:

<a href="http://editor.ne16.com/freeflite/Closing_the_GAP.pdf" rel="nofollow">http://editor.ne16.com/freeflite/Closing_the_GAP.pdf</a>

Sounds like the completed trail is a ways off but at least they are actively building parts of it now.

I think that I have at least a few more riding years in me.

Sounds like a great ride. I might have to look into it. Thanks.

Well, when do you plan on dying?

In my experience, bike trails never get finished. Ever.

Apropos of almost nothing, I rode from Florence, Alabama to Hohenwald, Tennessee this past Saturday on the Natchez Trace. If you've never ridden the Trace, I highly recommend it. A very smooth road with almost zero traffic, and what few cars/motorcycles there are almost always move to the far lane to pass. And it is quite beautiful out there.
