Snow Day
Since no one else has posted about the “weather event” that occurred last night, I’ll bite. It snowed, but only a little.
A nice, thin blanket of white powder on the ground. A dusting of snowy precipitation to greet us on Monday morning.
Nothing to see here. Move along.
If folks want to add pictures/links in the comments or share your “experiences” with today’s snow in the comments, feel free.
It barely snowed here in Sandy Springs, it was a light dusting that melted within 10 seconds at best
I was most disappointed, I had my snowboard out and everything
I didn’t even know it was forecast to snow. Which is good because I’m down to my last 6 rolls of toilet paper, 8 loaves of bread and 4 gallons of milk.
My dogs (in Midtown) checking this whole “snow” thing out: http://flickr.com/photos/mingaling/99242208/in/photostream/
it snowed here? damn. i must’ve been asleep. or too busy listening to my parents regaling me with stories of the 20 odd inches that landed on the front lawn up in new york. too bad i’m not there. i could’ve made one hell of a fort.
It snowed up here most of Sunday and there were some really big flakes here in the neighborhood but, they moved on Saturday. There were also some very big flakes falling from the sky too. I loved it!!
I was reading our sister site in NYC. Man oh man what THAT must be like. I have never seen snow like that in person before. I’d love to actually see that much snow but, living in it is not for me. Maybe a nice one week trip to Alaska is in order.
Yes, it was pretty. My boy put a picture up on his blog here http://v008.naoyawada.com
