Network? More like notwork.

Something happened today that knocked out the internet access for me and a huge volume of my coworkers telecommuting into the office today. Having recently moved and dealt with new utilities and such, I’m wondering again when internet access is going to become standard, like water, electric and heat.

I like when my broadband goes out (comcast) and they have no clue what their problem is. I check and recheck everything on my end before picking up the phone to bother the so-called tech support. If only I could see the blank stares that they would have it might ease my mind. But I doubt it.

Over the last two weeks I have had two outages of my DSL service. I was thinking about “hi-speed” internet as a utility as well.

No, sir. I do not get paid. I’m struggling in the middle of a move and several other competing influences to at least make short posts that’ll provoke comments from other Atlantans. I apologize for the lack of deep substance in the last two or so posts.
