Bill says no!

Hey we made another list! Bill O’Reilly says, the AJC is so bad, we all should just totally ignore it.

From Bill’s site:

“…We believe the following media operations have regularly helped distribute defamatory, false or non-newsworthy information supplied by far left websites:
– New York Daily News – The St. Petersburg Times – MSNBC – The New Yorker Magazine – Newsday – US News & World Report – Atlanta Journal-Constitution
We believe these are the worst offenders and are not worth your time and money. In the months to come we expect to add more names to this list. We recommend that you do not patronize or advertise with the above…”

His big rant is here -(these pages change frequently). Now, I don’t have the entire staff of FoxNews at my command and I don’t read all these publications everyday in detail so, I’m not qualified to fully agree or disagree with Bill. But, wow, does the AJC really qualify for what is essentially, yet another, “call to boycott”. (This seems to be a staple of the far right). What about the Travel, Sports, Living, Metro sections? I’m obviously missing some hot action here. Anyway, I just post this in case you missed it.

Bill continues:

“…Scores of American newspapers are printing personal attacks on people with whom they disagree, and facts don’t matter. Accusations rule…[]…The Atlanta Journal-Constitution joins the don’t buy, don’t advertise list…[]…Under the leadership of publisher John Mellot, editor Julia Wallace and editorial page editor Cynthia Tucker, the paper has become a far left publication that slants news coverage and deals in defamation. As a result, the newspaper’s circulation is in a freefall…[]…So we now urge fair-minded Georgians, and that’s about 90 percent of you, to avoid the Atlanta J-C until the Cox Company makes some changes there, which it will have to do sooner or later…[]…Ridiculous? That paper is off-the-chart ridiculous.”

Of course, this makes me want to subscribe so I can see what’s up. It’s like censoring a movie – makes the ticket sales climb.

    black pot, meet kettle.

bill is just a thin-skinned bully who just can’t stand it if you can cogently debate and call him on his bulls*it. then he shouts at you and cuts your mic.

yep, he’s a big tough guy.

If you don’t give the 45-degree salute to Fuhrer Bush and lick his toes, you are a communist baby-killing extremist. We have re-education camps for your type.

Well, at least he said that 90% of Georgians are “fair-minded.”

But we don’t need to keep up with local events – that is what Fox News & Channel 5 is for! (sarcasm)

The AJC prints mostly left-wing tripe. They leave logic out of most of it. The editorial staff is really in outerspace. It is quite funny, so I would suggest reading it from time to time for laughs. They do also print some local newsworthy items so it is worth the 50 cents.

Right. Left -wing tripe like attacks on the homeless, pro-war coverage and kowtowing to business.
    Dang left wing agenda!

As someone on “the far left” I am very offended that the AJC is thought to be like me. Bill just loves to offend me.
