Renteria: Stud or Dud?

So, do you believe in Schuerholz or your own lying eyes?

Me? I think Renteria will fall somewhere between his Gold Glove former self and last year’s error machine.

You?

The guy switched leagues and has one bad season and he’s all of a sudden crap? I hope he plays like he is capable of playing. I’m sure Cox and Pendleton will give him all the help he needs.

Exactly, I don’t think Rentaria was ready for the American league or the Boston market

I think he’ll do ok in his first year before he reclaims his 2004 form

He’ll be fine, no doubt about it.

Now, how about them rumours that AOL/TW is selling the Braves – possibly to Arthur Blank?!!

Definitely, Renteria just isn’t ready for the majors yet, so the step down to the Braves will do him good.
