Benefits to reading this

A major benefit to reading the Metroblog is that you would have found both Andisheh and me at the NYCBSA today at Twain’s.

Just be sure that you don’t forget about Wednesday.

More about this and a juicy rumor I heard tomorrow. It’s late and I’m soaking wet because of the rain.

I intended to spend more time talking with you, Dan, but I was experiencing what I can only describe as a meat buzz. I typically do not eat meat, but decided to loosen up a bit for the sake of journalism (I “covered” the event for my Creative Loafing column).

Two bites of corned beef and I got a bit dizzy. By the time I finished the sandwich my head was spinning (in a good way).

Andisheh – I figured you were covering it for the column and I didn’t want to interrupt you with the company you had. No big deal! The corned beef was excellent…

Lori – that’s exactly the thought I had when I saw it up on my weekly calendar…

And even the reclusive Paulie from East Atlanta made an appearance!

Andy – I saw you outside taking pictures, but never saw you afterwards. My attention was also grabbed by that crazy thing known as the NFL.

SD – I know… I think it’s because I live in Va-Hi and work at Tech and only recently have my attentions been turned towards Decatur with any serious effort. They’ve been pointed in the opposite direction.

BTW, “alleged hipsters”? I don’t think I would allege any such thing…
