New Place: Six Feet Under

What the hell was I thinking? This week is the anniversary of my arrival in Atlanta, and last week was my first trip to Six Feet Under. Here I thought I was going to go for Strongbow and catfish, but I ended up with fried-calamari tacos that I could eat every day. Could, he said, if it wasn’t for the narrow seating pushing me up against the window-side table I had and making me feel too fat to anything fried ever again.

But of course, I’m stupid and selfish and irresponsible, and I love food, so I’ll be back six feet under soon for catfish and hush puppies.

Though it’s a local place & there are things about it I like – I can’t help but think I am always in the minority, because I don’t think their food is that great. Of course, that is also the case with another local eatery – Agave, which I consider it to possibly be one of the most overrated places in Atlanta. But that won’t stop me from eating at their newest place even closer to where I live :)

I’d go there more often if their beer was cheaper. I suppose the same could be said about a lot of places here in Atlanta.

Brad, what is their newest place?

Beer was cheaper when it was the White Front Market. Just a little neighborhood Korean Grocer
but I always thought the name made it sound like it catered to some kind of white supremacy group.
