A fantasy question

On two of my fantasy teams, I have two different Falcon’s players. Crumpler and Vick. However, in both leagues I need neither to win the week and in one of them if Vick gets negative points I could lose the week. The question is this – do I start them both anyway, knowing that I am shielded from loss by Vick’s superior athleticism and knowing that I have faithfully supporter the team? Or do I take the wimp way out and assure victory over honor?

I’m leaning towards the former.

(By the way, does the AJC’s ridiculous logon annoy anybody other than me? I mean, first name, email address, AND password? Why not just username and password?)

Since I’ll be rooting for the Jets tonight (in the Dome as well) I’d advise you to bench them both (and if Jim Mora Jr. is reading this, feel free to follow my advice as well). ;)

When the AJC introduced the login I stopped going to their website.

The possibility of Vick putting up negative points is pretty slim. That’s depending on your scoring system, of course.

In most leagues, total points scored are used in determining tie breakers for many things, including playoff seedings.

Score as many points as you can.

Keep em both and hope for the best!

The logon for AJC is beyond stupid. I guess they don’t want other websites linking to its “award winning” journalism. I almost typed that without laughing.

As a fanatic fantasy player and Falcon fan, I don’t mind playing our guys (especially Dunn and Crumpler) because I still get to cheer for my team. It’s when one of my top scorers is going up against the Falcons that causes the most internal conflict.

I say play your Falcons and cheer for the home team. Given the Jets’ incredibly soft run defense, Vick will gain 50-75 yards on the ground and hopefully connect on some passes after the Jets start stacking the box.

Not that you have him, but Dunn is the big play tonight, especially since Duckett will not be there for the goal line carries.

    Good luck!
