More Autumnal Celebrations

Candler Park is my favorite area in Atlanta, besides East Atlanta Village. It has a cozy feel and cute little businesses that make this city feel like home. This weekend, Candler Park is putting on their FallFest, and it sounds like itís gonna be a blast.

This event is especially good for families with kids. There will be food, crafts for the kiddies to learn, and storytelling. Some of the businesses that will be bringing their tasty treats to the fest are Loca Luna, Pangea, and Berry Best Juice. For the art lover, youíll find art glass, paintings, jewelry, pottery, and many other diverse artsy farsty items. The vendors this year will be equally diverse ñ youíll find businesses ranging from wooden candle makers to legal services.

Possibly the best part will be the music. Spies of Life are returning, and you can also catch Sass Parilla the Singing Gorilla (for real) and the incredibly unique Hope for a Golden Summer. Check the Candler Park FallFest website for schedules so you donít miss the really good stuff.
