Far be it for me

to break in to the How to Help Katrina Victims posts that we have here, but I’m going to take a break tonight from the coverage and hide my head in the sand while I watch two of baseball’s greatest duel it out at the Ted. That’s right – Smoltz vs. Pedro. Both are 13-6 and both, with any luck this year, should’ve been closer to 19-6. Huge game for the Mets. Smoltz always pitches like it’s a huge game. This will be my 20th game of the year – officially surpassing the 19 regular season game personal best I set last year – and I’m still psyched to walk out and see that diamond.

Anyway, I’m psyched. Watch for me on the tube.

Expect a big game from Pedro- it’s crunch time for the Mets.. 3 out of the WC with 25 to play.

    Let’s Go Mets!

As a Braves fan, I do hope that the Mets end up winning the wild-card spot. There’s no other team I’d like to see the Bravos face in the playoffs at Turner Field than the Mets :)
