This is unreal

One of America’s great cities is, as I’m writing this, filling with water from Lake Pontchartrain. The efforts to repair the breaches in the levee have failed. The 20% of New Orleans that isn’t under water now might very well be tomorrow.

And one of our hometown networks, CNN Headline News, is showing Nancy Grace talking about a fucking kidnapping.

Unreal.

    you watch Headline News?

seriously though, HN is an alternate news channel so CNN can spread out its coverage ..obviously CNN is doing 24 hour news coverage on Katrina, as it should be doing so (of course the 700 plus stampeded and drowned to death in Iraq is newsworthy as well, as is the London Dukes of Hazzard premiere)…Grace’s program is a “justice” themed program focusing on criminal matters…if you have the endurance to watch (takes a lot) she runs the gamut so she is doing bits on the hurricane as it relates to her “justice” theme (like looting).

Anyway, she sucks. Change the channel. Plenty of Hurricane coverage out there to watch.
