During September, October, & November, Philips will host shows by four of rock music’s most popular live performers (Paul McCartney-Sept 20, Coldplay-Sept 28, The Rolling Stones-Oct 15, U2-Nov 18&19).

Which of those shows, if any, are you most looking forward to?

Which of those shows would you not go near, even if someone gave you free tickets?

Which shows, other than the ones above, are you most looking forward to this fall?

Etc.

I’m looking forward to Coldplay, I have my front row (of the upper level) ticket for that one… I’d love to see U2, but alas, that’s too hot a ticket for my meager budget

The Stones would be interesting, but their current stage show works better in a stadium than a small arena.

Other shows I’m looking forward to is Doves at The Roxy on September 20th and does Ben Folds in Savannah count?

Not going to any of them because I’m just not interested and am too cheap to pay anything over $20. Thus my reluctance to buy Death Cab tickets right now, but shall use an upcoming birthday as bait.

If they were free? U2, I guess, since I’ve never seen them.

I’m going to see the second U2 show, but I’d take tickets to Coldplay of the Stones.

The only show I’d avoid is McCartney, but that’s only because I think he’s got everyone snowed.

I’m more of a small-venue / up-and-coming band fan. I’d like to see U2, but I would have rather seen them in 1985 than today.

Ah, but you skipped Green Day in September, which was top-notch. I’d prefer to see them again over any of these, especially if the Stones don’t have the stones to perform “Sweet Neo Con” – they skipped it in Boston. U2 would probably be the best at Philips just because the acoustics would be less of a problem with their kind of music.

Sadly, I don’t have any more cash for concert tickets in the next few months. My PhD isn’t enough to get a job to pay for my PhD.

I have seen the Stones and U2 before and they were both good shows. However I am unwilling to pay the high ticket prices to see them again. If I was given tickets I would go. I have no intrest in seeing Coldplay or McCartney.
