Braves vs. ….Braves?
I’m watching the Braves currently lose 1-0 in a fairly boring game on TBS against Milwaukee Brewers, and the most interesting part of the whole game is the fact Milwaukee are wearing those throwbacks uniforms… Of the Milwaukee Braves.
So we have Atlanta in the road uniforms with Atlanta across the chest and Milwaukee are wearing what is very similar to the current Braves home uniform with Braves across the front with minor differences (the tomahawk is black as opposed to red)…
Yes, I know the Braves were in Milwaukee for 13 years before Atlanta, and I’m all for retro uniforms, but this one is just too damn confusing… I’ll try to find a picture after the game to illustrate my point.

Funny, I was thinking almost the same thing. The biggest difference is that I think this is the dumbest thing that I have ever seen.
I am a baseball “purest”, but I am completely over the “throwback” fad, especially when teams are thrown back to minor league and negro league teams.
Yeah, there was a game a few months ago, Twins at Royals I think, and one of the teams wore a negro league uniform, and it was this god forsaken, ugly blue baggy thing… How they were able to play in it astounded me, the look dumbfounded me…
