More ubiquitous wi-fi
In my diligent pursuit of all things free wi-fi, I’m pleased to pass on this announcement to you from 3rd Wave HotSpot:
In honor of our latest addition to the 3rd Wave Free HotSpot family, we are having a 3rd Wave HotSpot Happy Hour Friday at e2 Coffee House in East Atlanta. Please join us for free beer and wine, free pizza provided by Little Azio, and the good company of your HotSpot comrades.
Where: e2 Coffee House: 749 Moreland Ave
When: Friday, August 19, 2005 from 5:30pm to 9:30pm
Phone: 404.622.8104
So, free wi-fi is invading East Atlanta. Next – the world (or maybe just Sandy Springs).
P.S. Yes, I know that that link above is to the Microsoft maps site and that’s supposedly evil or something (what. ev. er). But Google kept asking me if I meant ‘1022 Moreland Industrial Dr SE, Atlanta, GA 30316’ (which I didn’t – where did it come up with that?) and Microsoft got it completely right on the first try. So score one for Redmond.
Free beer? wine? pizza? Nice!
Thanks for the heads up =)
Btw, here’s a link to e2 Coffee House using Google Maps.
Okay, but why can’t it find it if I just put in the address?
No idea. I reported it to Google so hopefully they can fix these kinds of problems. This isn’t the first time I’ve had a problem like this.
It’s at the corner of Moreland Avenue and Ormewood Avenue. The entire complex is relatively new (easily less than a year old) so perhaps that’s the cause of the errors.
btw- East Atlanta has had free WiFi for some time thanks to Joe’s Coffee (formerly Sacred Grounds).
