Freakin’ Greg Freakin’ Proops Man!

Robyn, Greg and... GregIt’s funny who you meet when you go OTP, the girl got an email telling her Greg Proops was playing at the aptly named Funny Farm in mysterious Roswell, GA. So we headed up there and were not disappointed…

The man is a funny, funny man, and it makes me feel old to remember him like 10/15 years ago on Who’s Line is it Anyway? on Channel 4 in the UK. So yeah, a funny, funny man and he’ll be in town tomorrow and Saturday night also, and if you’re lucky enough, you must just be able to jump him in the bar afterwards, jam a camera in his face and yell “smile bitch!” like we did.

Fun times… Almost worth missing the Metroblog meetup over…

I saw Greg perform last year at the funny farm. Interesting because his humor is dry and witty, not matching the crowd which was more along the lines of NASCAR/40 oz. drinking people. I thought he was very funny, and used to adore him from Whose Line..

Yeah, I saw him last year as well, he mentioned it last night as it seemed like god was angry with Georgia last year as he showed up during the tropical storm frances (or whatever) days

If Funny Farm wasn’t half-way to Tennessee I’d probably go once in a while. I like The Funny.

Greg, it’s on like Donkey Kong. Bring you A game and pack a lunch.

I used to see Proops every morning when he’d guest panel on my friend Alex’s show back in the day. Ahhh SF in the early 90’s. Funny people in the spring of their careers with boundless enthusiasm and raw wit.

Proops is def worthy. I forgive you for abandoning us for him and his spiffy specs.

(but I’m still going to kill you at thumb wrestling!)
