Local Legend
A dear friend, scrabble partner (she cheats ruthlessly, but you just can’t catch her at it) and complete freaking diva – Dejie Johnson – is a legend around Atlanta and the theatres of our fair city.
The local girl and fellow Turner-it continues to make good, hell the photographers from People magazine are even coming to shoot her (with film, not rubber bullets) for an upcoming piece on her in their rag at her CD launch party.
The more the merrier, so come join in the fun and bear witness. Why just Friday when I bumped into her she told me it’s been arranged to have masseuses at the party for the first two hours. Oooh la la, get your rub on! Check out her site and listen to samples if you must, and feel free to gawk in awe of her talent, beauty and charm: dejie.biz
As for the event, it’s open door but not open bar, so stop on over, take part in history and buy me a drink.
I’m just vouching for Maigh.
I’ve seen Dejie Johnson play. She’s a terrific performer.
See? See? Listen to Andisheh. Andisheh knows all.
Dejie is hottt, and not in that vapid Hilton way, but in a real, substantial, you’ve just been through an amazing experience which made the martinis taste all the better way. Love yourself and go.
