Can I Get a WiFive?

Living ìin townî has itís perks ñ knowing the folks at the neighborhood store by name, passing the same pedestrians so many times that youíre like old school chums with your head tilt and your double-guns and your “ësup”.

I realized last night in the company of a recent transplant how ill-equipped I am to help a newbie get himself situated, acclimated and intoxicated. Most frightening of all may have been that in my comfort zone in town living super cool style, Iíd become complacent about knowing where the WiFi HotSpots were!

There we were, my pal and I, near starving and homeless on the cruel streets of my fair city. All because Iíd become comfortable at Java Vino and this was…dare I say it…a Monday . (And we all know that ViHi / IP / L5P treat Monday night like the once a year snow anomaly in the dirty, dirty south.)

We rolled down the narrow streets in his 64 El Dorado ragtop mentally crossing off hipster spots that donít fashion themselves java bistros. “Nah, surely they wouldnít…” until we finally found ourselves at the Ponce on Eckard dancing in the aisles with garden gnomes and buying finger cots.

Once had a short lesson from the cashier-in-training on how to dial those cell phone thingies we had my companion interrogated a few local pubs about their connectivity, finally landing us at Hand in Hand with one especially adorable and accommodating waitress.

Wouldnít you know it, I fire up my silver sparkle monster this morning so she can take me surfing and on fellow Atlanta Metro Blogger Paulieís site I find this gem: http://www.wififreespot.com/

Perfectly brilliant and sure to fit all your WiFi loviní needs…in Atlanta and beyond.
