Not surprised:

Atlanta and Chicago may disagree over the definition of “world’s busiest airport,” but Atlanta was No. 1 again last year in number of passengers.

About 83.6 million travelers used Hartsfield-Jackson International last year, a 5.7 percent jump from 2003, according to a report to be released by the airport today.

With the uber-long lines at the lone security check-in at ATL, it feels like all 83.6 million travelers are there every single day.
