Best Cuban Sandwich in Atlanta

I was discussing some of the metaphorical significance of sandwiches with a friend of mine yesterday when we decided to head on down to the best cuban sandwich place in the city. Yes, that’s right, Kool Korners Grocery. I’m lucky. This place is only about 4 blocks from my building at Tech, so trips there are fairly frequent. But sometimes it is closed, seemingly at random. And, in that event, I suggest heading next door to Bobby and June’s Country Kitchen for some good atmosphere plus food (but not Cuban sandwiches). Here’s a good write-up of a seemingly typical B&J experience.

Any other thoughts on the best sandwiches in Atlanta? I’m thinking that Woody’s has to be on the top for Philly Cheesesteaks and Fabiano’s has to be up there as well.

the proscuitto di parma panino from Baraonda is the best sandwich in the ATL, IMO.
