Oh I get it now…
I’m supposed to tell you guys about stuff BEFORE it happens … I promise to start doing that like TOMORROW …. but i wanted to restate my love for all things intown…
After IVAN rolled through and knocked out the power … I was invited by all of my OTP friends to come out to the G-NET or Perimeter or Stockbridge or Lithonia etc; but I couldn’t bring myself to leave my dark neighborhood. So there we sat for the next 18 hours waiting for Georgia Power to do its’ thing…
Everyone thought I was crazy sitting up in an apartment with 2 boys without electricitiy … how…why?
Fast forward to Saturday, I walked down to the street to Sunken Garden park with a spiderman and incredible hulk blanket, a pillow, 2 pb&j sandwiches, a bag full of grapes, a bottle of OFF! and an incredible giddy 4 year old to watch “The Wizard of OZ” … This little event was sponsored by the MLPA and I must admit it was one of the best dates that I’ve had in a long while. After the movie … “we” decided to make it a real date and went to have dinner. Ask my 4 year old “What do you want to eat for dinner” the answer will most always be McDonalds … wasn’t going to ruin the night with MickeyDees so we compromised and I took him to “Eat Fresh” (that’s Subway) and I hopped on over to Fat Matt’s … I’ve driven past that place so many times and never had a desire to go there … but I found myself dialing up the number and ordering a 1/4 slab of ribs and baked beans… The funny thing is … I rarely eat pork and have a strong -yuck – when it comes to anything bbq-ed …but I’m sitting here still licking my fingers …
So my question for you guys …. is FAT’S that good OR is there better BBQ out there?
It’s very good barbeque. My wife and I avoid it whenever we’re dieting because it is pretty irresistable. The chicken is less good, but still tasty.
I think Bridgetown Grill has the best ribs.. Mmmm..
