I left the blog in San Francisco

The San Francisco Coffee and Roasting Company at the corner of Amsterdam and North Highland, that is, where I am right now, and where the porch seems to have mysteriously acquired wireless access.

Daniel! Get down here now, before they realize what’s happened and kill the connection!

Gasp! Awesome find, Jessica. I’ll have to test it out tomorrow afternoon. Though they may shut it off, you know, because they don’t want all of that anti-social wifi floating about.

Darn WiFi … gettin’ into ev’rythin’ … like them fruitflies and such. Too much of it and the health inspector’ll shut ’em right down. “Unacceptable, this here high WiFi content in the coffee beans,” he’ll say, wearin’ a white coat and holdin’ a test tube. Mark my words.

Went to check it out yesterday and there was indeed a signal – though it wasn’t superstrong and did cut out on me at times (though I think my computer is having problems so it could just be that). Maybe it’s coming from a nearby house or something? There’s no sign on the door saying “Free WiFi” It would be nice to have one so close – short walking distance…
