I generally just hit The Cheesecake Factory at Perimeter mall for a cheesecake or one of their other delicious desserts to go, but the other day I had occasion to eat lunch there and I must say I was pleasantly surprised.

They have a fairly comprehensive lunch menu, which is what my party ordered from. (Note: Don’t be fooled by salads labeled “lunch portion”, because I ate until I couldn’t eat any more and still had to take half of my cobb salad for a late supper.) It wasn’t terribly crowded (which according to the host is par for the weekday lunch hour course) and the service was excellent, so we got in and out of there in right at an hour. The only drawback is it’s kind of loud in the dining area, so if you’re in the mood for a quiet, peaceful lunch you may want to look elsewhere.

Be sure to pick up a slice of cheesecake to share on your way out. Your coworkers will thank you.
