Traffic vs. Ducks

What a morning! I get up at 4:30 to go down to Fort Gillem, an Army Base south of Atlanta on 675, to do a little computer work. After sitting for 30 minutes at the entrance to get cleared, I run into ducks crossing the street. Now I thought this was a problem only around my house, but it seems that is not so.

It occurs to me that this is a stupid problem to have, but it is one I have. At least twice a week on my way home from work I get to the road my neighborhood is off of only to find an unbelievable amount of traffic. The problem? Ducks, and it’s alway a herd (if herd is the word:-). Last time this happened some lady actually got out of her car and chased them out of the street, which I thought I was going to have to do today.

Anyhow, they all crossed including the mother with her little ones. Seeing the little ducklings made me think about getting a penguin. Yea, I think I will look into adopting a penguin.

I know it’s a stupid rant, but I just thought I would get it off my chest…
